Dr Jai’s ophthalmology training was undertaken at the prestigious Sydney Eye Hospital, with Sub specialty training in Laser Vision Correction. Following his acceptance as a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Ophthalmologists, Dr Jai undertook a sub-specialty fellowship in Refractive Surgery for a few years in Noosa before relocating to Bundaberg to establish Queensland Eye Specialists.

Prof. Tripathi is a surgeon scientist by training and focuses most of his clinical re-search in treatments for venous ulceration of lower extremities, thrombotic lesions of thoracic and abdominal aorta and aortic aneurysms.
Dr Tai Smith is a Queensland-trained ophthalmologist specialising in eyelid, orbit and lacrimal surgery.
He attended high school in Brisbane and then the University of Queensland, obtaining a science degree (BSc) and then his medical degree (MBBS). He worked as a junior doctor in the Queensland Health network before entering the five-year ophthalmology training program.
Dr Nigel Johnson is an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon who practises the full scope of the speciality including but not limited to: Dentoalveolar Surgery (wisdom teeth), Osseointegrated Dental Implants, Orthognathic Surgery / Obstructive Sleep Apnoea, Maxillofacial Trauma Reconstruction, Temporomandibular Joint Surgery and Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology.
