Professor Tripathi is a senior Vascular and Endovascular Surgeon in Bundaberg and the Wide Bay Region for over 3 years.
He is a A/Professor of Surgery at University of Queensland and an Adjunct Professor at University of the Sunshine Coast, Australia. He trained in Vascular Surgery at Royal Perth Hospital, Perth that culminated in FRACS in Vascular Surgery in 2005.
His work has been internationally recognised by many awards including Distin-guished Fellow of Society for Vascular Surgery, Distinguished Fellow of American Venous Forum, Honorary Member of European Venous Forum, Asterios Katsamouris Lecture from the European Society for Cardiovascular Surgery. He was inducted into Sigma Xi Honors Research Society in 2017.

Prof. Tripathi is a surgeon scientist by training and focuses most of his clinical re-search in treatments for venous ulceration of lower extremities, thrombotic lesions of thoracic and abdominal aorta and aortic aneurysms.
Dr. Tripathi is a distinguished reviewer for Journal of Vascular Surgery and sits on the editorial boards of Journal of Endovascular Therapy, Journal of Cardiovascular Surgery, Vascular, Phlebology, Aorta, Annals of Vascular Surgery, Asian Journal of Surgery and Endovascular Today.
